GoCar offers rentals in Seaport Village and Old Town San Diego. GoCars can be rented by the hour or day. To rent a GoCar you must be a licensed driver 18 years of age.

Driver Requirements:
Minimum age for drivers is 21 with current drivers license.

Payment and Security Deposit

Payment: You reservation is secured in advance by a major credit card; Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover Card. An imprint of the renter's credit card, along with a completed and signed rental agreement and liability waver are required prior to the release of the vehicle. CDW insurance can also be purchased directly from Go Car Rentals for $10.00 per day.

$400.00 security deposit is required on a major credit card.

All GoCars fit within the DMV definition of “moped�. The renter takes responsibility for the GoCar and their actions while driving the GoCar.

Safety:
Helmets are provided. All riders receive a full orientation.

Exploring all over San Diego is very popular activity with a GoCar. Cars are not allowed on Interstates.
Explore Downtown San Diego, Padres Petco Park, the Convention Center Promenade, Historic Horton Plaza, Balboa Park, Little Italy, Historic Old Town and so much MORE!

Pick up your Go Car at one of our TWO convenient locations: 639 Kettner Blvd, in Seaport Village or 2415 San Diego Ave in Old Town.

This rental must be booked at least 24 hours in advance of your travel date.

Advance Internet reservations available for departures between 8:00AM and 5:00PM.

Confirmation for this rental product will be received within 12-24 hours, subject to availability.

Reservations are held for 30 minutes after your reservation time. Reservations over 30 minutes late will be considered a no-show and charged in full

Recommended: Comfortable shoes and a extra layer of warm clothing.
